「拳銃無宿」と「シカゴ特捜隊M」を足したような、一風変わった西部劇。
1870年代のコロラド州デンバーを舞台に、接近戦用のショットガンと命中精度の高い32口径ライフルの2つの銃身を備えた特殊な銃を使ってさまざまな事件に挑む私立探偵の物語。
劇中に流れるジャズもあまり評判がよくなかった。
